7 Day Cleanse – How to make your own?
By colon cleansing diet | March 3, 2009
When you consider the going prices for colon cleansing products today, it is evident that this is big business. When you get to the end of your budget and you want to do everything you can to get and remain healthy you should consider making your own 7 day cleanse.
The whole idea of colon cleansing is really not new at all. It seems every now and again when some stars discover something the media will pick it up and publicize it. It’s that same thing that happens every time there is a good drama like ER that comes on television. Even other professions like the police force and firemen have seen an influx in applications whenever a good television show takes up.
When it comes to colon diet foods you just have to remember three things. Keep the food fresh, keep it green and keep fully hydrated. Those three tips are worth writing down. I am not suggesting that you go Vegan or something like that. But the fact remains that eating more of these types of food is much easier for the colon to process, filter and eliminate.
In fact, isn’t that the reason why we are in need of a cleanse in the first place? Our foods are to nutritionally poor and if they were left for animals to consume many of them would pass by the foods that we love everyday…Burger King Double Cheeseburger with French fries from Mc Donalds and a large frosty from Wendy’s.
Oh that was my meal at one time. It would taste just delicious. Okay enough reminiscing.
Foods that cleanse your colon include whole wheat, grains, cereals, green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and such. If you cannot get fresh fruits where you live then the frozen varieties are better than none at all.
One of the keys mentioned above was to get and stay hydrated. I drive arouund on the road for my job all day. So, you may be like me and not be in any single place for more than an hour. If this describes you then pack a small cooler that is stocked to the brim with nutriious foods. It was a major problem for me as I would not want to stop and eat anything. Then when I would be about to faint from low blood sugar, I would roll in to those three places above for my meal time. Now I keep snacks and water in my truck. I drive all the time and just have become used to feeling so much better as a result of monitoring my energy levels and food intake.
You can do the same thing to. Just make a goal to try it out. When you go food shopping get enough to try it for one day. If you do this and take these baby steps you are more likely to make an overall lifestyle change and not turn this into a fad. Then you can do a 7 day cleanse and become altogether healthier.
