7 Day Cleansing Diet – Are you making these mistakes?

The is really nothing more than a very concentrated and focused effort at eating well for set period of time. This may appeal to most of you but I would encourage you to adopt three, that’s right just three healthy habits. In this piece lets look at the mistakes that many health conscious people make.

The role of the colon in keeping your body disease free begins before you ever exit your mothers womb. The colon is used to keep your body healthy and toxic free. These toxins that are produced naturally as byproducts of metabolizing foods and drinks are normal. It goes without saying that your body needs to have a clean stream of blood and if your colon gets backed up, you fecal matter and toxins may enter into the bloodstream and spread contaminated blood throughout your body. You can imagine that this is not good.

What many people are doing currently to avoid being one of the 198,663 people that have colon and rectal cancer issues is to do a cleanse. But you know what? What is really effective is to adopt more healthy practices, so as to avoid this problem all together.

The top mistake people make is avoiding eating fresh foods. It seems illogical I know. But the reality is that we are so – so busy that we often eat foods prepared by other people at restaurants and such. The choices and the prices are often enough to make many people compromise their eating regime. But you can do something about it by choosing colon cleansing diet foods.

What are the best colon cleansing diet foods? Firstly, they are whole grains, fruits, vegetables and beans. You could benefit greatly by the fiber, as it will activate contractions so that your bowels pass through more quickly and easily. Also the raw foods are a great source of fiber. As you know, fiber makes your entire digestive system work in harmony.

The next mistake people make, is that of not staying hydrated. The colon needs to have water. Your body in fact, is mostly composed of water. The amount of water you need varies from person to person. When you are engaged in activity like mowing the lawn or even working on the computer, a good break to the activity is to drink some water. As an aside, you probably need between six (6) and eight (8) glasses of water each and everyday.

The final biggest mistake many people are making, is avoiding the green foods. My mother used to always make us eat green foods. Green foods are rich in chlorophyll which is another ingredient you need in your colon cleansing diet. When you eat green foods you literally get more bag for your eating power. You get the chlorophyll and you also get a food rich in antioxidants. The antioxidants act to combat the free radical damage caused by stress and the environment in which you live. You should really adopt these mistake ending habits and make them your own today.

As you can see this is really not that difficult a change to make. But it is I recognize a change to your habits. This albeit is a change for the better. Better colon cleansing diet eating is just one way to detoxify your body or more specifically your colon.
