Here’s a Simple Way to 7 Day Cleanse
By colon cleansing diet | September 26, 2009
The 7 day cleanse is more than just a passing fad. When you honestly consider it, there is nothing wrong with taking shortcuts to improve your health in the long run. Many of us run around in circles, we go this expert and read more online from another expert and ultimately do nothing. You know why?
Because of confusion. A confused mind always says NO. You say no either by not acting on the good ideas you know n your heart of hearts is true. Never mind having scientific research to back it up.
Take the cleanse for an example. When the doctor says she wants you to undergo a colonoscopy which is a common procedure to determine if you’ve got the signs and symptoms of colon cancer or rectal cancer, you normally say, “Okay doc where, when and what do I need to do.”
You usually have to fast for at least 12 to 24 hours so that your digestive tract can be clear and no processed foods will block the view of the scope. She or another physician usually will take the scope and insert it into your anus and on to the digestive tract. They will be looking for anything out of the ordinary. Polyps or other growths that may indicate a sign of cancer.
My point is that you had to fast in order to make the test a success. This is just common sense when you think about it.
Could it not be that periodically cleansing using one of various methods could also be beneficial? Of course it can. If you’re experiencing lots of symptoms or a few of them you could do wonders for your health by the 7 day cleanse.
Another common way to use the 7 day method is simply to eradicate the excessive sugar and salt from your diet. Use a colon diet way of eating that includes the following foods:
* Apples
* Apricots
* Beans (kidney and navy beans are great for the colon)
* Cabbage
*Cantaloupe
* Citrus fruit
*Cranberries or cranberry juice (watch out for the high added sugars with juices)
*Flax seed
*Green tea
* Sweet potatoes
* Whole grains
* Yogurt
I’d suggest you print this out and use it as you brainstorm different ideas for foods to add to your 7 day cleanse colon diet. This is the easy way to build your grocery shopping list. Doing this now is an added step in the right direction. I would be remiss if I did not point the obvious benefits of staying hydrated through out this process to. Bottled or filtered waters work great.
